The Lofts
The Lofts are composed of two apartments that wrap around a central vertical open garden. By exploring the relationship between mass and volume and carving out the interior void first, positive and negative spaces were created by giving the feeling of ‘in’ or ‘out’. Once inside, viewers can look up and down from their floor into other parts of the apartment.
